Oligopeptide-53 is a synthetic peptide containing 12 amino acids consisting of alanine, arginine, cysteine, histidine, leucine, lysine, phenylalanine, proline and serine.

Oligopeptide-53/CG-Nospotin acts as a skin lightening & brightening agent. It provides protection from sun, even tone skin, photo-aging prevention and aged spot treatment. It is a double layered encapsulated biomimetic peptide. It induces catagen phase of hair cycle and delays anagen phase which results in hair growth retardation effect. It helps in down-regulation of melanin generating enzyme such as tyrosinase, TRP-1 and TRP-2. CG-Nospotin is used in skin, hair and sun care products.
